Thank you to everyone who has helped make NYU American Public Policy Review’s (NYU APPR) third year possible! From our recently graduated founder and inaugural Editor-in-Chief to our new freshman writers and editors, this publication would not be possible without you.
We are living through a rapidly shifting political landscape, both domestically and abroad. Just as the world changes, NYU APPR will too. While NYU APPR is still an outlet for robust research and writing to help guide students through new ideas and continues to publish long-form academic articles here, our papers will look a little different this semester. This collection represents the first volume of a new style of shorter APPR articles written and edited by NYU students; they are designed to be concise, persuasive arguments questioning our policy landscape and probing for better ideas. We hope you enjoy them!
